2014-15 (Junior): Indoor: Placed fourth in the distance medley with a time of 12:08.98 at the SLU Invitational (1/17)… contributed to the Cardinals ninth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:51.34 at the Hamilton Invitational (1/31)… helped lead the Cardinal squad to an eighth place finish with a time of 3:34.53 in the 4x400 meter relay at the Dartmouth Indoor Classic (2/7)… led the team to a seventh place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at the Brockport Golden Eagle Invite with a time of 3:46.20 (2/21)… Outdoor: Finished ninth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:06.12 at the Middlebury Invitational (4/3)… contributed to a sixth place Cardinal team finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:45.49 at the Dick Farley Invitational (4/11)… helped the Cardinal squad to a first place victory in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:30.50 at the UAlbany Spring Classic (4/18)… propelled the Cardinals to a fifth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:44.09 at the Capital District Classic (4/25).

2013-14 (Sophomore): Indoor: Placed fourth with a Cardinal team in the distance medley relay with a time of 12:00.06 at the Saints Indoor Invitational (1/18)… finished eighth in the 500 meter run with a time of 1:11.68 and contributed to an eighth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:43.14 at the Hamilton College Invitational (1/25)… Outdoor: Helped a Cardinal squad to a sixth place finish in the 4x800 meter relay with a time of 8:35.46 at the Rochester Invitational (4/6).

2012-2013 (Freshman): Indoor: Placed third in the 800 meter run at the SLU Holiday Relay Meet with a time of 2:06.71 (12/8)… helped secure an eighth place finish with the Cardinals in the distance medley with a time of 11:11.26 at the SUNYAC Championships (2/23)… Outdoor: Helped the Cardinals secure a fifth place finish in the 4x400 meter relay at the Upstate Track & Field Classic with a time of 3:38.20 (4/13)… contributed to a Cardinal squad that placed seventh in the 4x400 meter relay at the SUNYAC Championships with a time of 3:26.40 (5/3)… placed second with the Cardinals in the 4x800 meter relay at the Oneonta State May Meet with a time of 8:10.05 (5/11).

High School: Enjoyed a lengthy prep career at West Canada Valley High School... captured League All-Star acclaim in outdoor track and field... helped the squad to CSC League Division I Championships from 2007-09... in 2008-09 and 2011-12, was an integral part of a Section III Class C2 Championship run... broke school records in three events (800, 1600, 3200) during the 2009-10 indoor season... all told, participated in ourdoor track and field fox six years and in indoor track and field for five... also ran for the cross country team for five years.

Personal: Born Christian Maxwell Whalen on May 19, 1994 in Little Falls, N.Y.... son of Ken Whalen and Colleen Maxwell... enjoys playing video games, hiking, running and playing the saxophone... majoring in geology at Plattsburgh State.
