Plattsburgh State Athletics

2011 (Junior): Made three appearances as the team's backup goal keeper...made one save in games against Oneonta (Oct. 8) and St. Lawrence (Oct. 26)...named All-Academic and to the Commissioner's List by the SUNYAC.

2010 (Sophomore): Served as team’s backup keeper as the season progressed, appearing in two games … Started and was awarded the win in the season-opener against Lehman College (Sept. 3) but did not face a shot in 45 minutes … Made a relief appearance against Brockport (Sept. 24) and recorded two saves.

2009 (Freshman): Academic All-SUNYAC...earned a start in his Cardinal debut against Saint Joseph's--Maine Sept. 6 at the Saint Joseph's--Long Island Eagle Tournament, making two saves in six shots faced.

High School: Earned three soccer letters at Garden City…team captain and all-county selection…also lettered twice in lacrosse, serving as captain and winning all-county honors…helped squad to a pair of county championships…played club soccer for Syossett Lions FC.

Personal: Born Michael W.J. Lind on Dec. 23, 1990, in Mineola, N.Y….parents are Al and Mary Ann…has athletic siblings who played college soccer:  brother, Eric, who was a goalkeeper (1995-99) at NCAA Division I Siena in Loudonville, N.Y.; sister, Janine, a senior midfielder/defender at Division I High Point in High Point, N.C., since 2006; and sister, Kathryn, wrapped up goalkeeping career (2005-08) at NCAA III Plattsburgh…Youth Group leader for local parish…also recruited to play for Plattsburgh State lacrosse team…undecided on a major.
