Plattsburgh State Athletics

2013 (Junior): Benefited the most from the Cardinals' two-setter system and went on to play in all 32 matches during her first season as an upperclassman... saw substantial jumps in all statistical categories, especially in the assist department where she amassed 515 - the second-highest figure on the team... reached the 1,000-assist plateau during a 3-1 non-SUNYAC loss at Oneonta State (11/2)... passed out a career-best 28 assists in a 3-1 Plattsburgh State setback against Union (8/31)... reset her career-high in digs by recording 19 during a four-set home win over St. Michael's (9/14)... no Cardinal accumulated more service aces (43) during 2013... totaled a career-best five aces in a 3-1 win over Oswego State in SUNYAC play (10/12).

2012 (Sophomore): Utilized her skills primarily off the bench for the second consecutive season... served as the third option for dispensing kills and racked up 179 assists to show for it... came up with 22 aces from behind the service line... collected 75 digs and three kills.

2011 (Freshman): Had six kills and 43 digs in 51 sets played ... second on the team with 349 assists.

High School: Played volleyball at Lakeland High School ... was the only sophomore on her varsity team ... made the Super 70 team 2010-11 and all league team for class A section I 2010-11 ... was a vacation bible school helper and a volunteer at a local nursing house ... part of a leadership program through school ... on the honor roll all four quarters of senior year ... fall 2011 scholar athlete award. Member of the Downstate volleyball team freshman through senior year.
 
Personal: Born Meghan Clifford on August 6, 1993 in Yonkers, N.Y. ... daughter of John and Mary ... mathematics major ... enjoys Irish dancing in her free time.
