Biography

Prior to Plattsburgh State: Attended Alfred University for one semester while serving as a backup quarterback on the football team.

High School: Put the wraps on a stellar four-year career at Saranac High School in 2012... starred at three positions (catcher, outfield, shortstop) during his prep days and was a four-time All-CVAC performer... led his team to a CVAC Championship during his senior year... earned a spot on the All-State Sixth Team at the conclusion of his senior year... a standout gridiron performer as well, spent three years as the signal caller for Saranac and collected a pair of First Team CVAC All-Star awards... also named to the All-State Third Team during his final prep campaign... competed for the Clinton County Mariners club team for three seasons (2010-12) as well.

Personal: Born Benjamin Scott Weightman on December 19, 1993 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. ... son of Scott and Holly Weightman... enjoys skiing and hunting... majoring in criminal justice at Plattsburgh State.
