2024-25 (Senior): Named a Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar... Named to EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll... Named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team... Served as co-captain... Appeared in 27 games, tallying 18 points... Tied for second on the team with 15 assists and also had three goals... Won 300 face-offs, finishing the year with a 51% win rate... Third on the team with 66 shots... Started his season with a goal and assist against VTSU-Castleton on Nov. 1 and followed that up with two assists against Plymouth State on Nov. 8... Had a goal and two assists against Canton on Nov. 16... Had a two-assist game against Buffalo State on Dec. 7... Recorded a point in five straight games from Feb. 7 to Feb. 21, including tallying a goal and an assist against Buffalo State on Feb. 14. 

2023-2024 (Junior): Named a Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar... Named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team... Named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... Recorded three goals and 16 assists in 26 games played with a +13 plus-minus... Was second on the team in assists... Tallied a three-assist performance on opening night against Saint Anselm... Won 52.7% of his face-offs and also notched 16 blocks on the year. 

2022-2023 (Sophomore): Named to SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... Tallied eight goals and six assists in 27 games played... Recorded a game-winning goal... Scored season-high two goals against SUNY Potsdam on Feb. 10.

2021-2022 (First-Year Student): Named to SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll... Appeared in 18 games tallying four goals and five assists for nine points... Scored two powerplay goals... Scored first career goal against Cortland on Nov. 5... Had a season-high five points off of two goals and three assists against Fredonia on Feb. 5.

Before Plattsburgh State: Played the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons with the Connecticut Jr. Rangers (NCDC)... Accumulated 22 goals and 27 assists for 49 points over 79 games played with the Jr. Rangers... In 2020-21, tallied nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points in 32 games played... Attended North Salem High School where he played lacrosse for four years and earned All-Section honors.

Personal: Son of Ed and Val Lanyi... Father, Ed, played ice hockey at SUNY Canton and Elmira College... Enjoys golfing, fishing, and wakeboarding.
