PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team is set to begin the 2026 fall season with a 14-match schedule, featuring five home contests and 9 road matches. The Cardinals will look to build on their recent success as they work toward securing a spot in the SUNYAC Championships. 

Plattsburgh opens the season on the road with back-to-back matches, traveling to Sage on Saturday, Aug. 29, before taking on Western Connecticut State on Sunday, Aug. 30.

The Cardinals begin their home slate on Wednesday, Sept. 2, when they host Sage, followed by a matchup against Vermont State Castleton on Saturday, Sept. 5.

Plattsburgh returns to the road for a contest at Plymouth State on Friday, Sept. 11, before hosting Saint Michael's College on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

SUNYAC play begins on Saturday, Sept. 19, when the Cardinals travel to Cortland to face Fredonia. The team then returns to non-conference action with a road match at Castleton on Tuesday, Sept. 22.

The Cardinals continue conference competition with matches at Delhi on Friday, Sept. 25, and Oneonta on Saturday, Sept. 26. Plattsburgh closes out its road schedule with a trip to Johnson on Wednesday, Sept. 30, before returning home to host Oswego on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Following a road match at Saint Michael's on Wednesday, Oct. 7, the Cardinals wrap up the regular season at home against Cortland on Saturday, Oct. 10.

The Cardinals will look to secure a spot in the SUNYAC Championships, set to begin on Thursday, Oct. 15, in Binghamton.
