PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. — The Plattsburgh State Women's Ice Hockey team captured the SUNYAC Championship for the second consecutive year with a 4-1 win over Cortland State yesterday, securing an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. The Cardinals will face Williams College in the first round on Saturday, March 14, at 3 p.m., with the game set to be played at Williams.

This marks Plattsburgh State's 20th NCAA Tournament appearance as they pursue their 8th NCAA Tournament title. Earlier this season, the Cardinals faced Williams at home in a tightly contested matchup, narrowly falling 2-1.
