Minneapolis, Minnesota – The Plattsburgh State Cardinals women's ice hockey team moved up one spot to No. 12 in the latest USCHO.com Division III Women's Ice Hockey Poll, earning 86 voting points, as announced Monday. The full poll can be found here.

Plattsburgh State is coming off a dominant 7-0 victory over William Smith Herons in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) semifinals and will host the SUNYAC Championship this Saturday at 3 p.m. against Cortland.

The USCHO.com Division III Women's Ice Hockey Poll is released weekly and features 20 voters, including coaches and media professionals from across the country.
