PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team's season-opening contest against Bard, originally scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, has been canceled. The Cardinals are still scheduled to open their 2026 campaign with a doubleheader against Vassar on Sunday, March 1, hosted by Bard. The first game will be a seven-inning contest beginning at 11 a.m., followed by a nine-inning game.
