PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Plattsburgh State Athletics reminds fans that admission to all regular-season Cardinal women's ice hockey games during the 2026-27 season will be free of charge, courtesy of Casella Waste Systems, Inc., the official game-day sponsor of Plattsburgh State women's ice hockey.

The partnership, announced earlier this year, allows fans of all ages to enjoy Cardinal women's ice hockey throughout the season without the cost of admission. The sponsorship continues Casella's longstanding commitment to the Plattsburgh community and its support of Cardinal Athletics.

The Cardinals will kick off their 2026-27 campaign with an exhibition game against Vermont State University Castleton on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 3 p.m. at home.

The upcoming season marks a special year for Plattsburgh State women's ice hockey, which will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the program while also hosting the NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship in March.

Fans are encouraged to come out, support the Cardinals and take advantage of free admission throughout the season, thanks to Casella.
