2026 Plattsburgh State Women's Lacrosse Schedule

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's lacrosse team is set to compete in a 15-game schedule for the 2026 season, as announced on Wednesday by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation. Under the direction of first-year head coach Anna Bissell, the team aims to secure its first-ever berth in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament.

The Cardinals open their 2026 slate on home turf, hosting Russell Sage on Saturday, Feb. 21, to kick off a three-game homestand. Plattsburgh next welcomes Norwich on Tuesday, Feb. 24, and then Utica on Sunday, Mar. 1.

Plattsburgh's first road matchup comes on Wednesday, Mar. 4, when the team travels to Vermont State University (VTSU) Castleton. The following Wednesday, Mar. 11, the Cardinals return home to face Clarkson and then visit the University of Hartford on Thursday, Mar. 19, for their final non-conference game.

The Cardinals open SUNYAC play at home against Buffalo State on Saturday, Mar. 21. The next week, Plattsburgh hosts Canton in a midweek contest on Wednesday, Mar. 25, followed by a home matchup with Cortland on Saturday, Mar. 28.

Plattsburgh begins its April schedule on the road, traveling to Morrisville on Friday, Apr. 3, before hosting Potsdam on Wednesday, Apr. 8, and Oswego State on Saturday, Apr. 11, for the team's home finale.

The Cardinals conclude their 2026 regular season with a three-game road trip, first heading to New Paltz on Wednesday, Apr. 15. The team continues its road swing at Fredonia on Saturday, Apr. 18, before closing out the regular season at Oneonta on Wednesday, Apr. 22.

The top six teams qualify for the SUNYAC tournament, where the first round will be played at the #3 and #4 seeds on Apr. 25. The semi-finals are set for Apr. 29, hosted by the #1 and #2 seeds, and finally, the Championship will be played on May 2 at the highest remaining seed.
