JERICHO, Vt. – Plattsburgh State men's basketball head coach Mike Blaine will be speaking at the 2025 Vermont Basketball Coaches' Association (VBCA) Coaches Clinic on Sunday, Nov. 2, at Mount Mansfield Union High School.
Blaine is part of the all-day event from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that will see coaches and officials going over a variety of topics, including ball screen offense, team building, the advantage of using statistics, and rule changes. The seventh-year head coach of the Cardinals will be speaking about pressure defense from half-court to full-court.

In his sixth season with the Cardinals last year, Blaine led the Cardinals to their second straight State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament appearance, finishing the season 15-12 (11-7 SUNYAC).
