"Overall, the team played phenomenally against a former SUNYAC championship team," head coach
Kelci Henn said. "I couldn't be more pleased with how each player performed, especially in doubles. We were strong at the net and held the baseline. So many points went to deuce that our overall score doesn't reflect the way they all played. We're optimistic heading into the final day of the regular season."

Plattsburgh State falls to 7-7 overall (2-4 SUNYAC) with the loss and closes out the regular season tomorrow at 9 a.m. against Fredonia. Geneseo rises to 7-6 overall (3-1 SUNYAC) with the win and next faces SUNY Oneonta tomorrow at 3 p.m.
