The Cardinals are looking to end a three-game losing streak against the Lakers, which includes a 3-0 road loss on Nov. 8, 2019 and a 4-2 home defeat on Jan. 31, 2020. This game is a rematch of last year's SUNYAC Tournament semifinal game when Plattsburgh State was edged by Oswego State, 3-2, on Feb. 23, 2019, at the Marano Campus Center Arena.

ABOUT THE CARDINALS: Plattsburgh State (10-13-3, 6-8-2 SUNYAC) is in the SUNYAC Tournament for the 29th consecutive season and enters Tuesday's game riding a four-game winning streak. Sophomore defenseman Matt Araujo (Brookhaven, N.Y./Boston Jr. Rangers) scored a power-play goal 91 minutes and nine seconds into the game to secure the victory.
