Kerri Corcoran (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) scored twice in the first half, but the Plattsburgh State women's lacrosse team fell, 25-3, to SUNY Oneonta in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) action Wednesday afternoon at Red Dragon Field.

Plattsburgh State drops to 1-13 overall (0-7 SUNYAC) with the loss and next visits Fredonia on Saturday, April 20, at 1 p.m. Oneonta rises to 8-6 overall (4-2 SUNYAC) with the win and visits Oswego State next on Saturday, April 20, at 3 p.m.
Oneonta finished with a 37-13 edge in shots, a 16-7 margin in ground balls and a 18-10 cushion in draw controls. Plattsburgh State was 7-for-14 on clears, including a perfect 2-for-2 outing in the second half, while Oneonta went 13-for-17. The Red Dragons cashed in on six of their eight free-position shots, while the Cardinals were 0-for-4.
Senior attacker Kelsey Cohen led Oneonta offensively with eight points on five goals and three assists, while sophomore attacker Lily Avazis tallied six points on three goals and three assists. Sophomore attacker Deirdre Buckley (four goals) senior midfielder Lauren Bascelli (three goals, one assist), junior midfielder Victoria Varone (three goals, one assist) all finished with four points, while sophomore attacker Sophie Calabrese scored three goals and sophomore midfielder Christen Patalano notched one goal and two assists. Varone was dominant on the draw with seven draw controls.
Cassidy made five saves in the loss for the Cardinals, while junior goalie Lexi Keen repelled four shots in the win for the Red Dragons.
