DEMOREST, Ga. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team moves to 2-10 overall and 0-5 in the conference after losing two games to No. 25 Cortland (9-8-1, 2-0 SUNYAC) Friday evening at Loudermilk Field.
GAME ONE: Plattsburgh State 0, Cortland 9
Cortland recorded 14 hits to Plattsburgh States one.
The Red Dragons scored their first run in the top of the first off a double and recorded three more in the top of the second off a wild pitch, a double and a sacrifice fly.
They made it 6-0 in the top of the third off a two-run single.
Cortland scored two runs in the top of the fourth off a two-run double and recorded one more in the top of the seventh off a single.
Junior
Kentaro Mori (Tokyo, Japan/Joto) recorded the Cardinals only hit in the bottom of the eighth.
Senior
PJ Weeks (Bayport, N.Y./Bayport-Blue Point) pitched 2.0 innings and gave up seven hits, six runs and walked one.

Cortland had ten hits in game two while Plattsburgh State had four.
The Red Dragons scored their first run in the top of the first off a sacrifice fly.
They recorded five runs in the fourth off another sacrifice fly, two singles and a two-run double.
Cortland made it 7-0 in the top of the fifth off a sacrifice fly.
