D3hockey.com National Women's Team of the Week (Jan. 24)
 
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – Sophomore defenseman Erin McArdle (Macomb, Mich./Belle Tire) of the Plattsburgh State women's ice hockey team has been named to the D3hockey.com National Women's Team of the Week for the period ending Jan. 20, 2019, as announced Thursday by D3hockey.com.
 
This marks McArdle's second D3hockey.com Team of the Week honor this season, as she was also selected on Nov. 28.
 
McArdle tallied six points on six assists and fashioned a +8 rating in a Northeast Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) weekend sweep of SUNY Cortland. She had two assists in an 11-1 win over Cortland on Friday before dishing out a career-high four assists in a 6-1 victory over the Red Dragons on Saturday.
 
For the season, she has 12 points on two goals and 10 assists.
 
The Cardinals (15-2-0, 10-0-0 NEWHL) next host Oswego State on Friday, Jan. 25, at 7 p.m. to open up a weekend NEWHL series.
