FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's soccer team will begin its quest to win its ninth State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) title on Saturday, Oct. 29, as the sixth-seeded Cardinals visit third-seeded Fredonia in the SUNYAC Tournament first round at 1 p.m. at University Stadium.
TICKET PRICING: General admission tickets are $5, while tickets for children ages 5-12 are $3… Children 4 and under and students from SUNYAC schools with valid identification will be admitted free of charge.
ABOUT THE SERIES: Plattsburgh State is 18-15-8 against Fredonia all-time, though the Blue Devils topped the Cardinals, 3-2, when the two teams met on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Fredonia, N.Y… Fredonia's senior forward Jimmy Ritchie had a hat trick in that game, while senior defender

ABOUT THE BLUE DEVILS: Fredonia upset nationally-ranked SUNY Oneonta in its regular-season finale on Saturday, Oct. 22, punching its ticket into the SUNYAC Tournament as the No. 3 seed… Junior forward Ryan Ross and senior midfielder Bryan Sibble both scored for Fredonia in the 55th and 61st minutes, respectively, while Oneonta's Dillon Johnson found the back of the net in the 71st minute… Senior midfielder Ryan Keller leads the SUNYAC and ranks 37th in NCAA Division III in assists (8), while senior forward Parker Healy and Sibble each are tied for second in the SUNYAC in assists (6)… Ritchie is tied for fourth in the SUNYAC in goals scored (7), while Healy is tied for eighth in the conference in points (16)… Seventeenth-year head coach P.J.
