Cardinals Skates to a 6-2 victory over the Quebec All-Stars in an Exhibition

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's hockey team returned to the Stafford Ice Arena for an exhibition game against the Quebec All-Stars that saw the Cardinals triumph to a 6-2 win.
 
The Cardinals tallied three goals in the first period started by Mark Constantine from Kyle Hall. Hall would score one of his own from Connor Toomey and Constantine.
 
Michael Cassidy would make it 3-0 with 26 seconds left in the first period when he scored off of a Kevin Emmerling pass.
 
The Cardinals would tally three more in the second period. Constantine would score his second of the game on a power play while Andrew Rossy and Dillan Fox would each score their first.
 
All three Plattsburgh State goalies would their own period of action Saturday night. Spencer Finney turned away all eight of his shots in the first. Brady Rouleau wasn't tested much in the second making just two saves on the two shots he faced. Ryan Hubbard would allow two goals on 13 shots in the third period.
 
Plattsburgh outshot the All-Stars 43-29 on the night.
 
The Cardinals will begin the regular season on the road with a SUNYAC game against North Country rival Potsdam at 7 p.m. on Friday.
