Luke Baleshta threw the puck to the front of the net and the freshman forward caught a lucky break to bring Plattsburgh within one. Baleshta’s shot deflected off the inside of Amherst goaltender Nathan Corey’s skate and across the goal line with 1:40 left in regulation, giving the Cardinals a new life.
