THIS WEEK: No. 19-NSCAA ranked Plattsburgh State welcomes Bowdoin College out of the New England Small Colleges Athletic Conference in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Field House Complex. Ticket prices range from $2-6 and free for children under 2.

The winningest coach in school history is a 6-time SUNYAC Coach of the Year and is in his 500th game at Plattsburgh.
HOW THEY GOT HERE: Both Bowdoin (11-4-1) and Plattsburgh are at-large entries, receiving two of the 17 Pool C berths allotted to schools who didn’t win their conference championship. The Polar Bears lost in the NESCAC Semifinals while the Cardinals and Brockport tied 0-0 before the Golden Eagles earned the SUNYAC’s automatic NCAA bid via a penalty-kick shootout, 11-10.
