Simmons averaged 2.17 kills per set, 1.33 blocks per set and 0.83 service aces per set and hit .357 in a 2-0 week for the Cardinals. She hit .455 on five kills and no errors in 11 total attempts and added two total blocks in a 3-0 win over Northern Vermont University-Johnson on Tuesday. She then floored eight kills, served up three aces and tallied five total blocks (one solo, four assist) in Plattsburgh State's 3-0 victory over Norwich University on Wednesday. For the season, Simmons ranks second in NCAA Division III in blocks per set (1.51).
