Plattsburgh State Athletics

Sophomore Desirae Blair (Queens, N.Y. / Bayside) of the Plattsburgh State women's track and field team has been selected as the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) field athlete of the week.

Blair finished fourth in the javelin with a regional mark of 38.29 meters (125' 07") at the Southern New Hampshire Penman Relays on Saturday. Her mark is currently first in the SUNYAC, fifth in the region and 46th in NCAA Division III.
