Andrew Veit had an excellent weekend for the Cardinals in the batter's box and on the mound. In game one of a doubleheader against Oneonta on Saturday, he drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off single. Veit followed that up with eight strong innings on the mound with six strikeouts and one earned run to pick up the game-two win.
