Coon broke a program in the shot put at the SUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships over the weekend, recording a mark of 12.69 meters (41' 7.75") to win the conference title in the event. Her winning attempt eclipsed the former program mark of 12.67 meters (41' 7") set by Shannon Young in 2010. In addition, Coon finished fourth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.19 meters (49' 10"). Both her shot put and weight throw performances met AARTFC qualification. She helped the Cardinals place third out of nine teams at the meet, as the team finished with 102 points.
