Kristina Maggiacomo was outstanding on both sides of the ball for Plattsburgh State softball on their spring trip, as the senior pitcher/outfielder went 8-14 at the plate and had a 2.85 ERA over five games hitting and three games pitched. At the plate, she slashed an astounding .571/.647/.857 hitting two triples, driving in seven runs, and scoring five runs. She did not strike out over 17 plate appearances as she also walked a team-high three times.Â
In the circle, Maggiacomo pitched in three games, earning complete game wins in two of them as she totaled 19.2 innings of work ver teh week while giving up just eight earned runs. She also struck out 18 batters while walking just six opponents over her three outings.Â
