Plattsburgh State Athletics

Brittany Marshall enters her first season with the Plattsburgh State softball program in 2027 as an assistant coach. Marshall returns to the Cardinals after previously serving as an assistant coach during the 2015-16 season.

A former standout two-sport student-athlete at Plattsburgh State, Marshall was recently named to the Plattsburgh State Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026. She earned three All-SUNYAC selections and First-Team All-Region honors in softball, was the 2012 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year and helped lead the Cardinals to a SUNYAC championship and NCAA Division III College World Series appearance.

Marshall was equally accomplished in women's basketball, earning two First-Team All-SUNYAC selections and helping Plattsburgh State win the 2014 SUNYAC regular-season and tournament championships. She finished her career as the program's all-time leader in assists.

Most recently, Marshall served as the varsity girls basketball head coach at Peru Central School from 2022-26. She also has worked as a surgical physician assistant at CVPH Medical Center since 2019.
