Plattsburgh State Athletics

Arend Desarro enters his first season with the Plattsburgh State baseball program in 2027 as an assistant coach.

Desarro joins the Cardinals after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Albertus Magnus College, where he assisted with coaching, recruiting, player development and day-to-day program operations.

Desarro also served as an assistant coach for the Winchester Royals of the Valley Baseball League, working primarily with hitters and catchers, and spent three seasons as an assistant coach with Connecticut Capitals Baseball.

A native of Longmeadow, Mass., Desarro played collegiate baseball at New England College and earned a bachelor's degree in sport and recreation management before earning a master's degree in management and organizational leadership from Albertus Magnus College.
