Biography
2013 (Junior): Returned to the North Country only to play in five matches before injuries derailed prematurely put the wraps on her first season an an NCAA Division III institution... struck for a season-high four kills during the Cardinals' first match of the season - a 3-1 setback to St. John Fisher (8/30).
Prior to Plattsburgh State: Elected to take the junior college route and used her first two seasons of eligibility competing for SUNY Delhi... set a new school record for career blocks during her two-year stint at the institution... received the Coaches Award at the end of the 2012 season.
High School: Distinguished herself as a prominent member of the front row at AuSable Valley Central School... helped her squad reign for three seasons as Class C Sectional champions (2008-10)... competed for two seasons on the Northern Impact club team... also participated in swimming for five seasons as a prep and earned an NYSPHSAA scholar-athlete award.
Personal: Born Emily B. Miller on December 22, 1992, in Lake Placid, N.Y. ... daughter of Reed and Candace Miller... enjoys boating, waterskiing, and camping... will major in nutrition at Plattsburgh State.
