Plattsburgh State Athletics

2013 (Sophomore): Followed up a breakout freshman campaign by retaining her position as the Cardinals' primary passer while becoming more of a factor in the front row... as a member of the regular starting rotation, competed in all 32 matches and totaled 123 sets played... racked up a team high 579 assists through the course of the season... broke the 1,000 assist barrier during the Plattsburgh State season finale at New Paltz in the SUNYAC Tournament (11/9)... accumulated a career and season-high 33 assists during a 3-1 home win over St. Michael's in the Cardinal Classic Tournament title match (9/14)... totaled 26 total blocks including a season and career-high three block assists on two occasions the most recent of which was during a 3-1 triumph over Oswego State (10/12)... finished the season with 27 service aces - the fourth-highest mark on the team. 

2012 (Freshman): Beat out a pair of upper-classmen to earn the role of primary offensive distributor during her first season at the collegiate level... dished out a team-leading 427 assists... proved to be a threat at the service line, amassing a team-high 38 aces through the campaign... recorded the third-most digs on the team (189).

High School: Lettered twice in volleyball at Massapequa High School where her team won two county championships ... received all-county and all-tournament honors ... selected for the unsung hero award. 

Personal: Born Kristen Nicole Marchisotto on May 11, 1994 in Staten Island, N.Y. … daughter of John and Michelle Marchisotto … special education major.
