Claire Said

Claire Said begins her first season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Plattsburgh State in 2025.

A native of Manchester, N.J., Said brings a diverse coaching background and recent NCAA Division II playing experience to the Cardinals’ staff. She most recently served as a graduate assistant and assistant goalkeeper coach for Post University’s women’s soccer program, where she also played as a goalkeeper from 2020 to 2024. During her collegiate career, Said served as a team leader and co-captain in her senior year.

Said has coached across multiple levels, including club and youth development programs. She currently works as a head trainer for the New York Red Bulls Youth Program, where she leads training sessions and evaluates player performance across various skill levels. In Fall 2024, she served as head coach of a competitive U13 girls team with Connecticut Rush Soccer Club.

Her additional coaching experience includes working as a junior coach for the Red Bulls’ Summer Youth Program and assisting with training, scouting, and goalkeeper development at the collegiate level. Said holds a Grassroots coaching license and is currently pursuing her U.S. Soccer D License.

She earned her Master of Business Administration from Post University in 2024 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Emergency Management from Post University as well.
