Josh Walker begins his second season as the women's lacrosse assistant coach in 2025.

Walker continued to work with the attacking group during the 2025 season as the team saw increases in goals, shot percentage, and shots on goal percentage. Walker helped coach five players who all reached double-figure point totals on the season.

During the 2024 season, Walker's responsibilities included developing the attacking group and working with goalies. In his first year with the team, the Cardinals saw an increase in shooting percentage and total saves.

Walker was most recently at Mount Mansfield Union High School as head coach of the JV lacrosse team. At Mount Mansfield, Walker was in charge of coordinating and running practices, as well as being responsible for mentoring student-athletes to perform on the field and in the classroom. In his time as the head coach, his team accumulated a 15-6-2 record. Prior to Mount Mansfield, Walker was head coach of the girls' club lacrosse team at the University of Vermont during the Spring of 2017, where he led the team to an undefeated regular season and to a national championship.

Walker earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Vermont in 2017.
