Plattsburgh State Athletics

2009-10 (Freshman): Recorded two goals and one assist in 18 games...first collegiate goal came in 9-3 win at Potsdam Nov. 24...tabbed as Most Improved Player by teammates in Cardinals' year-end awards.

Before Plattsburgh: Played for Syracuse Stars U-19...participated in the Empire State Games in ice hockey for 2007 and '08...invited to two USA Select Festivals...attended Westhill high school, where she was a five-time letterwinner in soccer (2) under coach Lisa Dwyer, softball (2) for coach Gary Griffo and indoor track (1) for coach Robert Bach...second-team all-league in soccer and honorable mention all-league softball player, both earned during senior season...2008 Section III soccer champions...softball squad won section and league titles in 2008...graduated with honors. 

Personal: Born Shannon Leigh Flattery on Sept. 13, 1991 in Syracuse, N.Y....parents are James and Nancy...likes to go to the beach, work out and listening to music...uncle, Marty Domres, played nine seasons with four National Football League teams from 1969-77...hasn't yet declared a major.
