Plattsburgh State Athletics

2008-09 (Junior): Scored 14 goals and assisted on 13 others for 27 points in 29 contests...had eight power-play tallies to pace the team and good for fourth in league play...second on the club with 12 ECAC-West goals during 18 conference contests. 

2007-08 (Sophomore): Set the school's single-season record with 12 power play goals, a mark that also led the nation...tied for fifth in the country and second on the squad in goals (21)...earned ECAC-West second team honors for the second straight year...achieved Academic All-ECAC West accolades...appeared in 28 games, scoring 27 points...notched six assists. 

2006-07 (Freshman): Named ECAC West Rookie of the Year and second-team all-conference…led ECAC West freshmen and fifth overall with 38 points…second on the Cardinals, and T-2nd in the league, with 22 goals and point-scoring…scored a goal and assisted on another in her collegiate debut on Nov. 4 season opener at Neumann, a 6-1 win…led Cardinals with 15 goals and 25 points in 14 conference games...also had 16 assists in 29 games played. 

Club: Played for Burlington Barracudas from 2004-06.

High School:  Attended Assumption where she participated in hockey and rugby…voted school’s 2004 athlete of the year.

Personal: Born Laurie Elisha Bowler on Sept. 9, 1986 in Brantford, Ontario…attended Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario before coming to Plattsburgh, but didn’t play hockey there...parents are Rick and Anne…brother, Todd, played college hockey at NCAA Division I Canisius from 2003-05…criminal justice major with a minor in women's studies.
