Plattsburgh State Athletics

2008-09 (Freshman): Scored two assists in seven games...notched first collegiate point and had a plus-3 rating in season debut at Chatham, a 10-0 win on Nov. 15...had three shots the following day in a 4-1 victory against the Cougars...other assist came against NCAA Division II Saint Anselm on Jan. 28, a 3-0 triumph for the Cardinals.  

Club: Played for Bluewater Junior Hawks from 2007-08.

High School:  Played hockey at St. Joseph’s in St. Thomas, Ontario...also lettered in golf, in which she was honored as the conference athlete of the year in 2008...led golf squad to Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association and Western Ontario Schools Athletic Association crowns...hockey team finished in third place in the 2006 Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations tournament, second in the 2007 WOSAA championship and won the 2008 Lady Flames tourney...earned scholastic awards in the subjects of geography and essay writing.

Personal: Born Brittany Alexandra McKegg on Oct. 24, 1990 in St. Thomas, Ontario…parents are Mike and Brenda…nickname is Kegger...majoring in childhood education.
