Plattsburgh State Athletics

2012-13 (Senior): Served as a capable bench option for the squad during her farewell collegiate campaign... heard her name called in 18 of the 27 engagements throughout the season... ripped down a career-high nine rebounds in 20 minutes of floor time in a Plattsburgh State victory over Oneonta State (1/19)... chipped in a season-high eight points on 3-of-5 shooting in a SUNYAC bout against SUNY Potsdam (1/22).

2011-12 (Junior): Made eight appearances off the bench for the Cardinals...made collegiate debut against Norwich (Nov. 15) ...scored a season-high nine points against Sage College (Jan. 17) after going 3-for-4 from outside the arc.

Before Plattsburgh: Attended Clinton Community College and was a member on the basketball team for two years … was MVP of the team and first team all-conference and all-region.

High School: Won four varsity letters for basketball and soccer, also earned a varsity letter for softball … as a basketball player won MVP senior year, first team all-star junior and senior team, and led the team in points ... won the Section VII championships four times … won a Section VII championship for soccer.

Personal: Born Johni Rae Coryea on Aug. 13, 1991 in Plattsburgh, N.Y. … daughter of John and Phyllis Coryea … sisters Courtney and Rachel play basketball at Le Moyne college and St. Rose …  criminal justice major … enjoys friends, family, and going on the lake.
