Keith Wasberg begins his fourth season as the women's basketball assistant coach in 2025-26.

Wasberg completed his fourth season as the women's basketball assistant coach in 2025-26, with the team increasing its win total for the fourth consecutive season and reaching the SUNYAC tournament semifinals.  Wasberg worked with the guards, seeing increases in scoring averages and three-point shooting percentages, as the offense topped the SUNYAC in made threes at over 7.4 per game in conference play. He also guided junior Julia Greek to an All-SUNYAC selection, as she led the team in assists per game, while senior forward Imani Walcott received All-SUNYAC third team honors for the second time in her career.

In his third season in 2024-2025, Wasberg was fundamental in player development efforts for both guards and posts, helping the team see increases in shooting percentage from the field overall as well as behind the arc. He helped coach the Cardinals' All-SUNYAC selection, senior guard/forward Payton Couture, as she shot a career-best from the field. Wasberg was also involved with scouting and film breakdown as the Cardinals' defense saw improvements in lowering opponents' points per game and field goal percentages.

Wasberg worked with the forwards and centers on post skills, helping junior Payton Couture and sophomore Imani Walcott earn All-SUNYAC third-team honors in his second year with the team. He also coached the Cardinals to increases in two-point field goal percentages, three-point field goal percentages, and free throw percentages.

In the 2023-2024 campaign, Wasberg coached the Cardinals to increases in two-point field goal percentages, three-point field goal percentages, and free throw percentages. Wasberg worked with the forwards and centers on post skill development, helping junior guard/forward Payton Couture and sophomore forward Imani Walcott earn All-SUNYAC third team honors.

In his first year with the team in 2022-2023, Wasberg contributed with shooting-specific player development and offense system implementation, and helped the team see an increase in points per game.

Prior to coming to Plattsburgh, Wasberg was a girls' basketball team coach, trainer, and event scheduler for Tree of Hope Pacific in Newcastle, Washington, working in that position from 2018 until being hired at Plattsburgh. He was also the head varsity coach for girls basketball at Mount Rainier High School for three seasons and had the same role at Tahoma Senior High School from May of 2008 to March of 2015. Wasberg was also a trainer and coach at Emerald City Basketball for almost 18 years in Seattle, Washington.

Wasberg also worked as a mathematics teacher for two years in Burien and SeaTac, Washington.

Wasberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education for Mathematics from Western Governors University in Kent, Washington, before earning his Master of Science in Data Analytics from SUNY Plattsburgh.
