Biography

2014-15 (Senior): All-SUNYAC First Team... SUNYAC Player of the Week (1/5)... Ensured that her name would remain etched all through the Cardinals' record book by submitting an impressive final movement to her career... started at point guard during all 24 games she took part in... no Cardinal logged more minutes of on-court time (792, 33 per game) than her... for the second straight season, led the 10-team SUNYAC in assists, by passing out an average of 5.2 per game... racked up 124 total assists which upped her career total to 498 - the highest ever by a Cardinal women's basketball player... put forth the ninth-best scoring average in the SUNYAC by pumping in 13.3 points per game... netted 10 or more points in all but six of her on-court appearances throughout the season... reached or surpassed the 20-point mark on no fewer than four separate occasions... hit her season-high with a 25-point outburst in a Memorial Hall victory over Middlebury (1/6)... canned a career-high six three-pointers as part of a 23-point outing at SUNYAC rival Oneonta State (2/6)... became just the ninth player in program history to reach 1,000 points in a career when she dropped in 18 in a home SUNYAC win over New Paltz (12/5)... wrapped up her career with 1,247 points - the fourth-highest scoring total in program history... other program record include most three-pointers made in a career (184) and most assists in a career (498).

2013-14 (Junior): Established herself as arguably one of the best point guards to ever sport Plattsburgh State colors during a splendid junior campaign... started each of the Cardinals' 27 engagements and by the time the season was in the books had logged more minutes (1,000) than any other women's basketball player in the SUNYAC... few in the nation possessed a better passing ability than Marshall, who doled out 5.9 assists per game - the 13th-best figure in all of NCAA Division III women's basketball... no SUNYAC player boasted better numbers in assists (170), assists per game (5.9) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.5)... by the time the season was in the books, ranked fourth among all SUNYAC players in three-point field goal percentage (.341) and fifth in three-point field goals per game (2.1)... pumped in 12.3 points per game - the second-highest total on the team and the 10th-best in the SUNYAC... had only seven games where she didn't score at least 10 points... awarded her first SUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week citation after a three-game stretch where she averaged 15.3 point per game on 58.3-percent field goal shooting (1/13)... matched a Plattsburgh State single-game record in assists when she passed out 13 during a road win at SUNYAC and North Country rival SUNY Potsdam (2/18)... waited until the SUNYAC Championship Tournament to break out her best performances of the season... netted a game and season-high 21 points to propel Plattsburgh State past SUNY Cortland and into the SUNYAC Tournament Finals (2/28)... hobbled by an ankle injury, led the Cardinals' to their first-ever SUNYAC Tournament Championship with a 13-point performance... earned SUNYAC Tournament MVP honors due to her inspiring performance... took home the final SUNYAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week award of the season as a result of her performance as well... placed on the All-SUNYAC First Team at the conclusion of the season... granted the SUNY Chancellor's Scholar Athlete Award which is only awarded to student-athletes who have made their All-Conference first or second team and achieved a GPA of 3.3 or better. 

2012-13 (Sophomore): Dodged the dreaded sophomore slump in a big way and shouldered a far more prominent load in the Plattsburgh State backcourt... served as a constant in the starting lineup, receiving 26 starts and playing in all 27 games while leading the team in minutes (816, 30.2 per game)... transformed into arguably the best backcourt specimen in the 10-team SUNYAC by averaging 10.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and a league-high 4.5 assists per outing... raked in SUNYAC Player of the Week and ECAC Division III Upstate Player of the Week accolades after a dominant two game stretch in December... netted 40 points during the span and led the Cardinals to victories over Fredonia State (12/7) and Buffalo State (12/8) while shooting 50 percent (16-of-32) from the field... torched Brockport for a season-high 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting in another Cardinals triumph (2/8)... passed out a season-high nine assists to help her team blast SUNY Potsdam (1/22)... named to the All-SUNYAC Second Team at the conclusion of the season.

2011-12 (Freshman): Enjoyed an impressive first season with the Cardinals...started 21 of 25 games...made first collegiate start against New Paltz (Dec. 6)...second on team and 11th in SUNYAC in scoring with 11.1 points per game...second on team and seventh in SUNYAC in assists with 82...scored a season-high 27 points against Brockport (Feb. 27)...scored 21 points against Keene State (Dec. 30) ... made the SUNYAC all-academic team.

High School: Won five varsity letters for soccer and softball and four for basketball … as a varsity soccer player scored 116 goals and 50 assists … named first team all-conference three times, two-time conference MVP and team MVP in her  junior and senior year ...  won Ken Cring award and conference award senior year … as a basketball player won conference MVP junior and senior year, conference team MVP junior and senior year … section X most outstanding female basketball player … Jan Reetz award winner … as a softball player won four-time first team all conference, two-time MVP junior and senior year … had all-state honors for all three sports … was a two-time Section X champion in basketball finishing undefeated in both 2007/08 and 2009/10 seasons … New York State Class A champions 2007/08 season …  had an undefeated season for softball and was Section X Class A champions in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 … reached the New  York State Final Four Class A in 2009 … was a member on the Adirondack Diamonds Jr. Olympic fastpitch softball team 18u for five years ... graduated fifth in her class with a 94.7 GPA.

Personal: Born Brittany Anne Marshall on May 30, 1993 in Saranac Lake, N.Y. … daughter of Brad and Annette Marshall … older sister, Ashley, played softball at Plattsburgh State from 2010-13 … is a biology major … enjoys playing the trumpet.
