Victoria Brown begins her second season as an assistant softball coach at Plattsburgh State in 2022.
In her first season as an assistant coach in 2021, Brown helped guide Plattsburgh State softball to a 7-9 (6-8 State University of New York Athletic Conference [SUNYAC]) record. The Cardinals swept a road doubleheader against SUNY Oneonta (April 18) for the first time since April 5, 2013. Plattsburgh State also garnered an 8-7 walk-off victory in game one of a home doubleheader against SUNY Cortland on April 24. It was the Cardinals' first home win over Cortland since April 15, 2013.Â
She joins the Cardinals after serving as a 16-and-under head and assistant softball coach for the Long Island Ducks Travel Organization in the fall of 2020.
As a catcher at SUNY Cortland from 2017-20, Brown helped Cortland win two State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) titles, seeing action in 59 career games. She also helped the Red Dragons win the NCAA Division III Cortland Regional championship in 2017.
Brown earned her Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in physical education from Cortland in 2020.
