Biography

2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in six games ... recorded his first collegiate assist against Johnson State (Aug. 31) ... named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's List.

2011 (Freshman): Speedy winger who was used off the bench in 19 of the Cardinals' games ... registered two goals on the season ... scored on his collegiate debut against St. Joseph's College in the season opener and against Fredonia (Oct. 14).

High School: Won four varsity letters for soccer, earned a varsity letters for track and field … 2011 varsity soccer captain, 2011 all-state first team, Mayors cup champions 2009 and 2010 … section B champions in 2010 (16-3-1 record) nine assists as left back senior year … was a scholar athlete … member of BC United Fusion 2008 – 2011 and Oneonta Young Boys 2011.

Personal: Born Sean Michael Murphy on Jan. 20, 1993 in Cooperstown N.Y. … son of Michael and JoAnne Murphy ... psychology major … enjoys occasionally playing the guitar.
