2024 (Junior): Appeared in 17 games, making 10 starts... Led the team with five assists and tallied 739 minutes of play... Attempted 12 shots, with four on goal... Recorded his first point as a Cardinal against Baruch on Aug. 31.. Recorded assists in back-to-back games on Oct. 9 and Oct. 12, as well as on Oct. 23 and Oct. 26. 

2023 (Sophomore): Appeared in 10 games, starting four and recording 340 minutes of play... Attempted nine shots, with one on goal...Made his Plattsburgh debut against Union on Sept. 16, playing 33 minutes... Played a season high of 54 minutes versus SUNY Potsdam on Sept. 20.

Before Plattsburgh State: Competed for NCAA Division II Queen's (N.Y.) College in 2022, notching an assist in 19 matches played.

High School: Competed for Bethpage High School in soccer for two years... Earned All-Conference, All-County and All-State honors while being named Offensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Son of Alexander and Luz Vargas... Brother, Mattias, played professional soccer in Columbia.
