2012 (Senior): Served as the anchor to the SUNYAC's top defense that held its opponents to 0.95 goals per game ... appeared in all 21 games with 20 starts ... tallied his first Plattsburgh point, an assist, against New Paltz (Oct. 5) ... named to the Cardinal Classic and SUNYAC All-Tournament Teams ... received SUNYAC All-Conference Second Team and NSCAA All-Region Second Team honors ... selected to the NSCAA Men's Division III Scholar All-East Region Team ... named to the SUNYAC Commissioner's List ... recipient of the 2012 SUNYAC Fred Holloway Award, given annually to the men’s soccer player with the highest grade-point average on either the first or second all-conference team with a minimum of four semesters of college completed.

2011 (Junior): Immediately became an integral part of the Cardinals backline...started all 20 games on the season as one of the teams most consistent performers...registered two shots on the season...named to the All-Academic team by the SUNYAC.

Before Plattsburgh: Attended Marist College from 2009 to 2011 while playing soccer.

High School: Won three varsity letters for soccer … received Section I All-League honors three times … soccer team won section and regional championships before advancing to the state semifinals during his senior year … high honor roll all four years in high school … two-time recipient of Exemplary Character and Citizenship Award … member of FC Westchester.

Personal: Born Nicholas Dimtrios Pourakis on Sept. 28, 1991 in Carmel, N.Y. … son of Costas and Karen Pourakis … Information Technology major … relative, George Pourakis, played soccer at Iona College for two years … enjoys playing soccer.
