Plattsburgh State Athletics

2021 (Senior): Pitched to a 1-3 record with a 3.67 ERA, 16 strikeouts, 13 walks, and a .229 batting average against in 34.1 innings pitched over 10 (four starts) appearances. 

2020 (Junior): Pitched to an 0-2 record with a 5.63 ERA, four strikeouts, six walks and a .389 batting average against in two games (both starts)... Pitched a six-inning complete game with one earned run allowed at Farmingdale State on March 8... Season ended on March 12, due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

2019 (Sophomore): Made 12 appearances on the mound for the Cardinals with two starts… Finished with a 2-3 record with one save, a 5.65 earned run average in 28.2 innings pitched... struck out 11.

2018 (First-Year): Named SUNYAC Athlete of the Week on March 19, after he came in as a relief pitcher against Alfred State to break the program record for longest relief appearance with 8.0 innings and helped the Cardinals take a 6-2 win... Triola scattered two hits, two runs, walked four and struck out five... Made nine appearances on the mound for the Cardinals…Finished with a 2-0 record, a 5.12 earned run average in 19.1 innings pitched and struck out 10.

High School: Played baseball for Saratoga Springs High School... Named Most-Improved Player during senior season... Played club baseball for Saratoga Stampede (2011-2018).

Personal: Son of Sharon and Billl Triola... Interests include fishing and horse racing.
