2012 (Senior): Started the first 11 games before suffering a season-ending injury ... registered an assist against Norwich (Sept. 5), Old Westbury (Sept. 9) and Clarkson (Sept. 19).

2011 (Junior): Broke into the Cardinal starting lineup as a left back, starting 19 of the teams 20 games ... scored his only goal of the season against Castleton (Sept. 14) in overtime to win the game.

2010 (Sophomore): Played in 18 games, starting in two … Tallied one goal and three assists … Scored first collegiate goal against New Paltz (Oct. 9).

2009 (Freshman):  Made Cardinal debut on Sept. 25 at Brockport, recording a shot ... earned first start against Potsdam on Oct. 24 during the regular-season home finale.  

High School:  Three-year letterman at Arlington … two-time all-league and honorable mention all-section … helped team to 2007 Class AA state championship with a perfect 25-0 record … 2008 league champions … served as team captain during senior year … played club soccer for East Fishkill Thunder, which won a state title and finished third in a national tournament in 2004.

Personal: Born Matthew Steven Martin on July 29, 1991 in Smithtown, N.Y. ... parents are Neil and Roseann … loves to ski … criminal justice major.
