2012 (Junior): Returned to action after missing all of 2011 to produce a career year ... became the lone SUNYAC representative to garner NSCAA/Continental Soccer All-American honors in 2012 with a spot on the second team ... led the Cardinals in points (21), goals (10), shots 48) and game-winning goals (4) ... one of two Cardinals selected to the All-SUNYAC First Team and the NSCAA All-Region Team ... named to the SUNYAC All-Tournament Team ... honored as the Plattsburgh State Male Athlete of the Year. 

2011: Missed 2011 season due to injury.

2010 (Sophomore): Appeared in 21 of Plattsburgh's 22 games ... second on the team in goals (5) and shots on goal (26) ... third overall with 12 points ... tallied the game-winning goal against Geneseo (Sept. 25) and Cortland (Oct. 2) ... received Academic All-SUNYAC honors for the second-straight season.

2009 (Freshman):  Academic All-SUNYAC ... had an impressive first season, leading Cardinal freshmen in goals and total points ... fourth overall with 13 points ... made collegiate debut on Sept. 6 versus Saint Joseph's-Maine ... scored twice for his first career points at Clarkson, a 3-1 win on Sept. 9 ... made first start against Buffalo State on Oct. 16 ... credited with a game-winning goal over Fredonia (3-0 on Oct. 17). 

High School:  Played varsity soccer at AuSable Valley, earning team MVP honors as a senior … 2008 Champlain Valley Athletic Conference All-Star and two-time Division II All-Star … prep coach was Bob Hamilton … also played a season of basketball under coach Jamie Douglas … member of Plattsburgh FC.

Personal: Born Matthew Thomas Hamilton on Aug. 2, 1990, in Plattsburgh, N.Y. ... parents are Robert and Wendy … business administration major.
