2017 (Sophomore): Played in all 21 games for the Cardinals, starting in 18... Scored Plattsburgh State's only goal in the SUNYAC Tournament championship game against SUNY Oneonta (Nov. 4) and one goal in a SUNYAC Tournament semifinal match against SUNY Cortland (Nov. 1)... Played 1,486 minutes on season.
2016 (Freshman): Saw time in 16 games as freshman, starting 12... Recorded an assist on two occasions, once against Potsdam on Sept. 24 and against Oswego on Sept. 30.
High School: Shored up the defense and midfield at Oakdale High School for three years... Earned First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-County accolades in 2015 while competing for the Bears... Honorable Mention All-County (2014)... Served as a team captain at Oakdale in 2015... Helped lead Oakdale to state titles in 2014 (2A) and 2015 (3A)... Suited up for the Soccer Association of Columbia as well, helping lead the club to a state championship in 2013 while serving as a team captain in 2015.
Personal: Son of Thomas and Lynn Gula... His father, Thomas (Plattsburgh State), sister, Heather (Mount Saint Mary College), and brother, Teddy (University of Vermont) all competed in college athletics... Enjoys playing soccer, basketball, volleyball and football in his spare time.
