2020 (Senior): Played in all four games... Earned four points by way of three goals and one assist... Scooped up 29 ground balls and caused seven turnovers.
2019 (Junior): SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year, selected to First Team All SUNYAC, Second Team ECAC. Scooped up 86 ground balls, caused 17 turnovers, and scored two goals. Smith finished second in the SUNYAC on ground balls, and ninth in SUNYAC on caused turnovers. Smith led the Cardinals on ground balls, Season best point performance against Cortland were Smith caused three turnovers, picked up 12 ground balls, and scored a goal.Â
2017 (Freshman):Â Appeared in 14 games... Picked up 8 groundballs and caused 1 turnover.
High School: Played lacrosse for Sachem East for two years on the defensive end... Also played football for two years, garnering All-Division honors.
Personal: Son of Matthew and Diane Smith... Enjoys snowboarding in his spare time... Interests also include time travel and petting dogs.
