Mark Chatt begins his first season as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Plattsburgh State in 2025.
In his first year as Assistant Coach, Chatt served as the offensive and recruiting coordinator. Chatt's role as the offensive coordinator helped the team see an improvement in goals, shots, shot percentage, shots on goal, shots on goal percentage, and shots per game. The Cardinals saw an increase in power play percentage, converting more goals when playing a man-up. Chatt also helped mentor eight offensive players who all reached double-figure point totals on the season.Â
A Matthews, N.C. native, Chatt competed at Methodist University for five years on the men’s lacrosse team as an attackman from 2019-2024. At Methodist Chatt scored 180 career points registering 115 career assists and 65 career goals. His 115 career assists set a new all-time record at Methodist. He also holds the single-season assists record with 41 and the single-game record with six. Chatt also recorded 122 ground balls and caused 40 turnovers in his career.
Along with his playing career, Chatt has also spent time as a volunteer coach for multiple Battalion Lacrosse club camps.
