Andrew Bracy begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach in 2026.
In his role as a volunteer assistant coach, Bracy will primarily work with the faceoff unit.
Prior to joining the Plattsburgh staff, Bracy was previously an assistant coach at American International College for the 2023-2024 season, where he assisted with all aspects of the program. During his time at AIC, Bracy led the team to its winningest season in program history and tutored the program's first two USILA All-Americans: Ries Bower and Carter Linkletter. Bower also broke the NCAA Division II record for caused turnovers in a season in 2024.
In 2019, Bracy returned to his alma mater, Norwich University, to be an assistant coach for women's soccer and lacrosse before moving to the men's lacrosse coaching staff, where he coached until 2023. There, he helped the Cadets win the 2022 GNAC Championship and advance to their second-ever NCAA Division III Tournament, earning their first win in the opening round. From 2017-2019, Bracy served as an assistant coach at the University of Vermont.
As a player, Bracy competed professionally in Major League Lacrosse for both the Ohio Machine and the New York Lizards, and with the Hampton Hammerheads of the Professional Box Lacrosse Association. A 2015 graduate of Norwich, Bracy earned his bachelor's degree in History. He was a two-time All-GNAC selection and the NCAA Division III faceoff leader in 2015 with a 74.3 win percentage. He graduated as the program's second-highest faceoff win percentage leader at 66.9 percent, and earned Academic All-New England as well as a selection to the East-West All Star Game from the NEILA in 2015.
