Plattsburgh State Athletics

2009-10 (Junior): Named Most Valuable Player in Cardinal Classic, posting four assists in two games...appeared in 23 games with 13 points on two goals and 11 assists...recipient of Provost's Award for the five highest GPA's with a 4.0...Academic All-SUNYAC and Commissioner's List selection and All-Academic Second-Team for Plattsburgh State.

2008-09 (Sophomore): Selected to the All-SUNYAC First Team...all-tournament during the conference playoffs...had a career-high five goals as part of a 26-point season...been part of a Plattsburgh defense that has broken school records for fewest goals allowed and goals-against average in back-to-back years.

2007-08 (Freshman): Received honorable mention honors for USCHO All-America rookie team after recording 27 points...named SUNYAC Rookie of the Week on Feb. 11...led the team with 24 assists...scored his first collegiate point in 5-1 season-opening win over Morrisville on Oct. 19...first collegiate goal came in 5-2 win over Cortland on Nov. 3...had multiple point games six times.

Before Plattsburgh:  Played for the Calgary Royals...2004 league champions...won a city crown in 2002...won best defenseman award...attended Central Memorial high shcool.

Personal:  Born Ryan Thomas Corry on July 9, 1986 in Calgary...parents are David and Maureen...entrepreneurship major.
